Almost a Pro V1, just half the price and one less layer, but it really is a superior ball because the Tour version isn't error correcting. Most golf balls are designed to actually straighten out if mis hit with excessive side spin. Don't ask me how it works, I can't explain it but I've read numerous articles that explain how and you can find them too.
The Tour version is two layer ball, the NXT Extreme (formerly just NXT) is a single core ball.
Golf pros have the ability to power fade or draw golf shots around dog legs, this can be accomplished with a combination of wrist and elbow position at impact and changes in stance. When using a mainstream golf ball like a Pinnacle or or even a TopFlite, the ball will straighten out.
If you are inconsistent in your swing than you should avoid the NXT Tour and stick with the NXT (NXT Extreme). Either way, they won't cost as much as a Pro v1.
